Editorial Policy
How SlashGallery researches and reviews practical pages.
SlashGallery publishes tools, guides, and research notes for practical workflows. This page explains how topics are selected, how pages are reviewed, and where readers should verify important decisions.
Topic selection
Topics are selected from repeated user problems, search demand, community discussions, product gaps, and workflows where a focused page can help someone make a clearer decision.
A topic is not published only because it is trending. Public pages should have a clear audience, a useful structure, and enough original explanation to stand on their own.
Writing and review
Guides are written by the SlashGallery Editorial Team, an OpenSlash project team that also maintains the linked calculators and workflow tools. Tool-related formulas are checked against worked examples, and changing platform claims are linked to official or primary documentation.
Published pages are reviewed for clarity, broken links, outdated assumptions, unsupported claims, and whether they still match the related tool. Draft pages are excluded from navigation, routes, related content, and the sitemap until they pass the automated content audit.
Limits
SlashGallery does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, medical, or security advice. Calculators and guides are for planning and research. Readers should verify important decisions against official sources or qualified professionals.
Corrections
Corrections are welcome. If a page has an outdated assumption, unclear example, broken link, or inaccurate explanation, email hello@slashgallery.com with the page URL and the issue.
Advertising and independence
SlashGallery may display advertising or link to external tools. Advertising should not decide whether a topic is covered or how a practical recommendation is explained.
